Privacy notice

You will be notified of new developments by email. The ATAP Steering Committee (chaired by the Department of Infrastructure, Transport, Regional Development and Communications) collects your email address for the purposes of notifying you of new ATAP Guidelines developments. Your personal information will be stored securely by the Department, and will not be disclosed to any third parties unless required by law.

Submissions made to the Steering Committee will not be published, however your submission may be passed on to consultants engaged by the Steering Committee to review relevant comments and make appropriate amendments to draft reports as required.

The Department is subject to the Privacy Act 1988 (Cth) (the Privacy Act). The Privacy Act contains 13 Australian Privacy Principles (APPs) which are rules about how the department may collect, use, disclose and store personal and sensitive information, and how you may access and correct records containing your personal or sensitive information. The Department is committed to protecting your privacy in accordance with the APPs.

The Department’s privacy policy contains information regarding complaint handling processes and how to access and/or seek correction of personal information held by the Steering Committee. You may delete your subscription at any time, simply follow the link provided from within an email notification you have received (or copy and paste the link to your browser directly). All subscribed email addresses which return errors are deleted, or updated if replacement information becomes available. Please advise ATAP@infrastructure.gov.au if you have changed your email address so that your contact details can be kept up to date.
